Other Useful Information:

  • Safety is our first priority, if the weather is questionable, there is a chance we will delay start, or cancel. Please check sailmv.org or our other social medial platforms for details prior to leaving the house.
  • Initial student check-in will as well as daily arrivals will be undertaken in the car park area. No one other than camp students and staff will be admitted down the hill to the Sail MV Boathouse.
  • Please do not arrive at the sailing camp more than 5 minutes before your child’s allotted class arrival time, and make sure to pick your child up promptly at the end of class. Students left will be returned to the Boathouse where you are to collect them on your arrival. More than one late collection will require us to cancel the remainder of your child’s course with no refund.
  • Each child is to bring with them a water bottle for their own use. Water will be available to fill the bottles, but no cups will be available for use by campers. We have cubbies for backpacks or other gear that needs to be kept inside during sailing.
  • No knives or any other personal weapons are allowed at any Sail MV facility or activity.
  • Please label everything you bring or wear to sailing! That way lost items can find their way home.
