Sail MV was founded in 1992 to provide free maritime education to young islanders, and to preserve and protect the island’s maritime heritage.

2026 memberships are available now and Summer Program Registration is open

We will have two Black Dog Lectures this winter:

On Wednesday, February 18th at 6 PM, Paul Magid will discuss the life and voyages of whaling captain Marston Clough.

On March 18th, at 6 PM at the Black Dog, Ted Okie will regale us with tales of his sail from Vineyard Haven to New Zealand.

You can donate here at any time to support maritime education for islanders of all ages and abilities.
