Sail Mobility
SailMobility is our adaptive sailing program. In partnership with Camp Jabberwocky and Island Autism, we bring small groups of students out onto the water for an hour at a time. Students will be sailing with volunteers, using wide, stable sailing dinghies that can accommodate two adults. These sessions will be staffed by Sail MV staff with assistance from volunteers and members of the high school’s Maritime Studies classes.
Sailing requires an innate respect for both the sea and the conditions on it. There is no arguing with Mother Nature, and this program will allow our students to experience all that the sea has to offer in a safe and controlled environment. As students progress through their time with us, we envision that those who wish to become more independent will be able to take to the water on their own.

Broader Reach
On summer Wednesdays, groups from the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club join us for afternoons on the water.
City to the Sea
Starting with a pilot program in the summer of 2023, this program offers small groups of young people from underserved and vulnerable communities the opportunity to spend a week on Martha’s Vineyard, experiencing all that Sail MV has to offer, interlaced with marine industry field trips hosted by our partners at the MV Shipyard.
