SailMobility
Islanders of all abilities, young and old, are invited to sail with us on Saturday mornings in the spring and fall, on selected weekday afternoons in the summer, and by arrangement. Contact anutton@sailmv.org with any questions.
SailMobility Sessions will run from early May through late October of 2026, weather permitting, with a short break in late August.

High School Sailing & Fall Youth Sailing
Sail MV equips and coaches the MVRHS varsity sailing team. Our fall after-school program for ages 10 – 18 helps young people build their skills and brings new sailors onto the team.
Registration for Fall Sailing will open in late August 2026.

Maritime Studies at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School
Approximately 90% of the island’s high school freshman class enrolls in the MVRHS Career and Technical Education Exploratory program. CTE is an opportunity for 9th graders to explore a variety of career pathways, including a glimpse at the maritime industry, with an introduction to knotwork, mechanical advantage, basic navigation, and the practical application of Archimedes’ principles.
Students in the more advanced Maritime Studies classes work their way through the navigation and general deck safety aspects of the USCG captains’ license course, take a deep dive into naval architecture, and learn about boat design as they progress through their high school education.
